The Center for Innovation Management(CIMS) at NC State University unveiled a robust, new Web site that features enhanced design and functionality. The site pairs Information and functionality and will be unveiled at its fall sponsor meeting.

The Web site, which had been in development for five months, offers many new and interactive features including an online Innovation Management Maturity Assessment which graphically displays a firm’s strengths and weaknesses through a heat map. The new site also features the Center’s newsletters dating back to 1992, all of which can be searched by content and year of publication. The site features a robust member only section to facilitate collaboration and networking among the organization’s members, researchers, fellows and faculty.

The new site is more congruent with the services and reputation of an organization dedicated to the art and science of innovation, say CIMS leaders. One new feature, for instance, enables users to take an animated tour of the Innovation Management Framework, the construct on which many of CIMS’ programs and tools are based. “Having a more interactive site will allow us to better acquaint prospective members and clients with our unique take on innovation management and its benefits,” said Paul Mugge, director of CIMS. “And it will add value to the relationship we already have with corporations, industry thought leaders, researchers and universities.”

The site was developed and designed by Cary-based TrueParallel with the support of the NC State University IT team.
