Based in Allentown, Pa., Air Products & Chemicals is a Fortune 500 company that provides products and services related to gases and chemicals to customers in the industrial and health care sectors. It has operations in 40 countries and annual sales of approximately $10 billion.

Armstrong World Industries
This Lancaster, Pa.-based company is a global leader in the design and manufacture of floors, ceilings and cabinets. Armstrong has annual sales of about $3.5 billion and operates 40 plants in 10 countries, and employs more than 12,000 worldwide.

BP America
BP America is a unit of BP, one of the largest integrated oil companies in the world with an estimated global market share of 3 percent of oil and gas production and 4 percent of refining capacities in its markets. It employs more than 97,000 worldwide in its two business segments: exploration and production and refining and marketing.

Eisai Inc.
A U.S. pharmaceutical subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Co., Ltd., a research-based human health care (hhc) company that discovers, develops and markets products throughout the world. Established in 1995, Eisai Inc. began marketing its first product in the United States in 1997 and has rapidly grown to become an integrated pharmaceutical business with sales of approximately $3.7 billion in fiscal year 2008 (year ending March 31, 2009). 

IBM

One of its largest US operations is located in Research Triangle Park, less than 30 minutes from the CIMS offices at  NC State University.

MWV MeadWestvaco
MWW is a world leader in packaging and packaging solutions for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, home and media industries. It has sales, manufacturing and converting facilities on six continents and customers in over 100 countries. The company's Center for Packaging Innovation is located on NC State's Centennial  Campus.

Mars Petcare manufactures private label dry pet food in the United Sates and Europe.  Mars Petcare is a subsidiary of Mars, the candy corporation.  Brands within their petcare line are; Pedigree, WholeMeals, Cesar, The Goodlife Recipe, Sheba and Whiskas.
